save a .ply file in a directoy

wajdi
Hi every one!

I want to save a point cloud into a ply file using :

 pcl::io::savePLYFileASCII ("output.ply", *output_cloud);

the function saves it in the user directory under windows, means every output are saved in

c:\users\user1\

how can change the directory to another of my choice ?

Best regards,
Wajdi

- by changing the working directory from which you execute your program.

… or by specifying the full path instead of just "output.ply". You can use boost::filesystem if you want to do fancy stuff with paths.
