pcl in_hand_scanner: strange behavior between release and debug builds

I compiled in_hand _scanner in both debug and release modes. The release mode works at nearly 10fps while the debug mode works at 1fps. I rotate a carmine 1.09 sensor around an object at 1rpm in both the debug and release modes. The strange part is that the debug mode gives more complete cloud/mesh than the release version. The cloud/mesh generated by the release mode has much more holes than that from the debug mode.
