We need a logo for PCL, and we're thinking about starting to design it. Any suggestions or even better, volunteers? The
current graphics are too large for a logo, and they're better suited for fliers.

Also, there's a few sets of slides around at least from me and Bastian, but maybe others too, that need to be shared and
information/content from them reused somehow. If you have made any slides, or are thinking about making some, talk to us
so we can help. Mine are LateX Beamer, so they might be more painful to reuse, but Bastian's are PPT for sure :)

Finally, we're thinking about creating a separate standalone web site, with as much content as possible extracted from
doxygen (so we can easily maintain it until our community grows larger and we have volunteers), and then have the wiki
information separately. Again, suggestions/volunteers/help is welcome! ;)

PS. If there are IRC lurkers around, we can start creating a #pcl channel on some network (OFTC?), in anticipation for
the next release so that we can start hunting bugs and fixing them :)

Cheers,
Radu.

Thanks to all that replied. I'll be following individually with you on the logo.

We are working on a new design and it looks like the new web page will be sphinx + doxygen, with links to the current
wiki system. We'll probably host something along the lines of OMPL (http://ompl.kavrakilab.org/), with:
Home, Download, Documentation, About, Media, ...

(suggestions welcome).

  * Code API can either be on the front page, or it can go under Documentation.
  * under Media, we should be able to put together crazy datasets, youtube videos, or just nice screenshots, hopefully
with link to the authors original page.

I registered #pcl on OFTC. All IRCers, feel free to meet us there if you're up for informal discussions.

Cheers,
Radu.
