flann 1.6 package does not compile the shared object for C

Ryohei Ueda
Hi all

now im using flann 1.6 package under perception_pcl/unstable and i found
the package does not compile the shared object for C API.
on the other hand, flann package in perception_point_cloud/cturtle compiles and
exports the shared object for C.

is there any reason not to compile the shared object for C?

some package(s), as far as i know table_objects package under
tum-ros-pkg is, may depend
on C API of flann.

Marius,

Can we enable the C bindings too? Are they still valid?

PS. Thanks Ryohei!

Cheers,
Radu.

Re: flann 1.6 package does not compile the shared object for C

Marius Muja
I've re-enabled the C bindings in FLANN. The reason for disabling them
was the compile time of the package and I incorrectly assumed that
only the C++ bindings were used in ROS.
