estimating first fundamental coefficients for some points in point cloud

M rezaei
I want to estimate first fundamental coefficients of some points in a point
cloud. I  used least square for fitting the surface(polynomial) but results
are n't good.
any suggestion?
maybe I should consider another surface type?
or is it possible to estimate these coefficints with out surface fitting?
Thank you

Hello,

To clarify your question: what do you mean by "first fundamental coefficient"?
Do you have a definition or a link that explain that.

It seems to be not a trivial information about a surface.
I never see something like that in the PCL toturial. It doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.
