carmine 1.09 being identified as ASUS XTion Pro

shome
I am trying to use carmine 1.09 with pcl on ubuntu  12.04,64bit
openni samples work fine.

However pcl identifies my device as ASUS, Xtion Pro
pcl_openni_viewer -l
Device: 1, vendor: ASUS, product: Xtion Pro, connected: @ , serial number: ''
Virtual Devices available: ONI player

Also the following pcl samples dont work:

./pcl_openni_viewer
Device Id not set, using first device.

./pcl_openni_grabber_example
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'pcl::IOException'
Aborted (core dumped)

./pcl_openni_image
Device Id not set, using first device.
Aborted (core dumped)

./pcl_openni_save_image
Device Id not set, using first device.
Aborted (core dumped)

INSTALLATION DETAILS

ubuntu: 12.04 64bit.
pcl: installed from github
pcl version: https://github.com/PointCloudLibrary/pcl downloaded on 20th aug,2013

Hmm. Oddly enough, I have a Asus Xtion Pro that is identified as a carmine 1.09.

Could you manage to fix it or find the source of the error?
