addSphere crashing

Yves Daoust

I am facing a crash when invoking Viewer::addSphere (adding a cloud or a mesh or a plane works fine).

The following message appears on a console window I am under Windows, PCL 1.8.1).

I have seen a few old posts that make me think that this problem was known.

Is there a workaround ?

Re: addSphere crashing

Sérgio Agostinho

Which PCL and VTK version are you using?

Cheers

Sorry for that. Hit the send button too quickly. I just need the VTK version.

Cheers

Re: addSphere crashing

Yves Daoust

It’s VTK 8.0, the version that comes bundled with PCL 1.8.1.

Re: addSphere crashing

Sérgio Agostinho

(I just noticed your crash log also included the vtk version...)

Two things:

- Can you post a minimal self-contained snippet which triggers the problem.

- Can you compile and try the development PCL version with the same snippet and report results?

Cheers

答复: addSphere crashing

tod

Pcl 1.8.1 only support OpenGL based vtk

You can add the following code at specifying it.

VTK_MODULE_INIT(vtkRenderingOpenGL); // VTK was built with vtkRenderingOpenGL

VTK_MODULE_INIT(vtkInteractionStyle);
