I'm currently starting to work with the sensor Astra Pro of the company Orbbec, I would like to know if someone has some experience working with this sensor and PCL, can it be done? so far I understand the sensor's SDK needs VS 2013 and PCL VS 2010 but i´m not sure how this works... any help would be appreciated.
hey Victor, thanks for your reply, I was trying another approach first and it took me a long time, I tried getting the data from the sensor using the official SDK from orbbec and then storing the data in a PCL point cloud but this procedure of moving the data from the structure that the sensor trows in to a point cloud takes to much time and I ended up with a really low frame rate...
Now I want to try using the OpenNI2 grabber, but I had some doubts about that:
currently I have Openni2 but the example I see in the documentation uses Openni, is there a grabber for openni2? and if there is, is it included in the PCL all in one installer (vs10x86) or should I build from source in order to get it?
