Need Help in Understanding the 'rgb' fields in .pcd file

ashj
Hi Guys,A newbie here.I have a Kinect based point cloud which has given me a
set of points in the following format in /.txt/ file.-0.903510 -0.662890
1.281565 *183 184 176*I believe the last three entries are for R, G and B
values. I want to convert it to a .pcd file. but I am not sure how I can
pack the RGB fields together as the standard  /.pcd/ header expects.Someone
could suggest how can I find a single float value which can replace* last
three entries*

Here is my suggestion. Please read the following URLs-

> how I can pack the RGB fields together
[Read "Detailed Description" section]
http://docs.pointclouds.org/1.7.0/structpcl_1_1_point_x_y_z_r_g_b.html

> I want to convert it to a .pcd file
[The PCD file format]
http://pointclouds.org/documentation/tutorials/pcd_file_format.php
[Writing Point Cloud data to PCD files]
http://pointclouds.org/documentation/tutorials/writing_pcd.php

You should be able to get it done after reading the above docs.
