Kinfu graphic card compatibility

wkf2000
I am going to buy a new computer with nVidia to try Kinfu.
My question is: which ones of nVidia are compatible with Kinfu?
also, I can see many people here are running Kinfu on Windows. Any specific reasons for that?  Can I run Kinfu on OS X?

This has been asked before on the mailing list, and there's a comprehensive thread on it. Please use the search
mechanisms of the archive to find that information.

Cheers,
Radu.
