FastBilateralFilter -- meaning of sigmaS, sigmaR

Tristan
Hi,
Could someone please explain the intuitive meaning of sigmaS and sigmaR in the FastBilateralFilter? In some place I saw defaults of 5 and 0.03 respectively. What's the effect of raising/lowering these values? Any advice about what these should be for a kinect-like sensor?

Thanks,
Tristan.

Hi,

Easiest is to refer to the paper mentioned in the documentation of the class.

Cheers,
Alex

Tristan
Thanks Alex.
Still if anyone has any other insights into the intuitive meaning of
these, I'd love to hear.

Tristan.
